Data collected in a random London alleyway. Alleys have a sense of isolation. A circle view that bounces to brick walls implying an interior space consisting of exterior walls. Overlapping architectural elements, seen from different angles, compose a multilayered setting in different views.

‘Traces in Space’
This is a capture in real time of the traces of an object as it moves in the space using a 3D laser scanner. The object is a folded umbrella which rotates freely hanged from a string. The result can be seen in different views, representing the combination of different time frames put together and processed based on the fact that everything else in the same space is not moving. A visual representation of fragmented time and movement in the space.

‘Rooted identities’
What can bring balance in such a complicated and constantly transforming world?
The work explores the two fold nature of humans. The exposed and visible part, related to our social life and the invisible one, that exists within us, hidden from the rest of the world. The latter is the most vital one - like the roots of a tree - and is what we strive to nurture in order to keep in harmony and coordinate our existence with the world, a notion plain to perceive, yet so hard to achieve.

Slice of life project is based on capturing real life subjects utilising 3D laser scanning, resulting in unique ‘point cloud’ art prints. Everyday objects designed to protect us have been chosen to be displayed on a mask - another object destined to the same purpose. The sense of nesting and covering ourselves is dominant from the nascence of our existence and a necessity until today.

‘Parametric illusions III’
3D point cloud image captured utilising a 3D laser scanner. Natural curves occur because of gravity, texture and thickness of the garment’s material. Visible and invisible parts are merging into a transparent unity resembling a parametric shaped object.
